Dawid Kwiatkowski
Violin
He was born on 7th December 1978 in Zielona Gora. He took up the study of violin at the age of five with the Prof. Stanislaw Hajzer. Then he continued his education in the violin class of Anna Tulasiewicz in Zielona Gora. In 2002 he graduated with distinction from The Music Academy in Bydgoszcz in the violin class of Irena Zarnowska. He is the laureate of numerous violin competitions, for instance:
- 3rd place in XV Bach Contest in Zielona Gora (1989)
- 1st place in National G. Bacewicz String Chamber Groups Contest in Lodz (1993)
- Distinction in National Chamber Groups Contest in Wroclaw (1993)
- 4th place in National Bach Contest in Zielona Gora (1993, 1996)
- 2nd place in National G. Bacewicz String Chamber Groups Contest in Lodz (1996
- The laureate of the Macroregional Auditions violin and viola classes in Poznan (1997)
What is more, during International Master Courses for Strings he was mastering his skills with W. Wilkomirska, K. Wegrzyn, J. Dvarionas, M. Lawrynowicz, A. Grudzien. From 2002 he has been working in The Symphony Orchestra of The Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz. From 2007 he has also been an educator in State Music School in Bydgoszcz. Moreover, he cooperates with Inowroclaw Symphony Orchestra Pro Arte, The Symphony Orchestra of Torun and The Symphony Orchestra of Zielona Gora.
